Angels’ Attic Sales Associate (Part-time)
ACCOUNTABILITY:
This position reports to the Director of Angels Attic.
OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:
The Part-Time Sales Associate’s primary responsibility is to provide outstanding customer service through assisting customers. In addition, this position will help process, restock and maintain merchandise standards. This is a part time position with varying work hours, at roughly 12 hours per week. Saturday availability is required.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promote daily sales promotions.
- Assist customers with merchandise questions.
- Oversee the counting and balancing of the monies in the register at beginning and end of each business day.
- Assists with the training of new cashiers on the use of the cash register, and on store etiquette in greeting customers.
- Committed to fostering a pleasant and positive work environment for staff, volunteers, and donors.
- Works with the Director of Angels’ Attic and other team members to plan, schedule, and execute special sales events, merchandise restocking, store resets, and general maintenance and cleaning of the store.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Retail sales and customer service experience required.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Saturday availability required
- Able to lift items up to 25 pounds.
- Must be proficient in math and accurate in processing transactions.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
Weekly hours needed for this position: 12 hours/week
